Challenging and Breaking stereotypes
Women is dressed in black army wear and driving a digger showing she is more masculine. She has short hair which also gives her more masculinity. She fights away the sabertooth tiger where this is stereotyoically a mans job.
The male character is wearing a pink top which shows he is not afraid to show his feminity.
In the sequence we see 4 guns twice the woman is holding a gun and there are two males both with guns. The gun represents falic imagery as one of the male characters pushes another woman and holds his gun to her as she is trying to tell him what to do. By a woman holding a gun it shows she is powerful and dominant.
